He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Whitey" Stanley and Mildred Joan O'Malley Scesny; his sons, Stanley and Kenneth Scesny; his brothers, Walter Scesny, Peter Scesny and Thomas Scesny; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Palmer, Elizabeth Scesny, Joyce Fitzgerald and Rose Agnew.
He is survived by: his close friend Diana Doris Bianchin Scesny; his children, William Edward Scesny, Jr. (Lisa) of Leominster, MA, Theresa Valente (Joseph) of Waynesboro, VA, Rosemarie Scesny of Grottoes, VA, Edward Scesny of Clinton, MA, Joseph Scesny (Pamela) of Douglas, GA, Alex Scesny of Leominster, MA and Diana "DJ" Scesny (Corey Dowd) of Leominster, MA.; and his sisters, Dorothy Scesny, Margaret Yesue (Albert) of Bolton, MA, Alice Palmer of Cleavland, OH and Veronica Tucker (Steve) of Leominster, MA.. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
To honor Bill, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project (PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675).
