It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Hoynowski Meyer of White Stone, Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hino (Boley) and Catherine Hino. She is survived by: her husband Frederick "Rick"; her children, Scott Meyer of Lorton, VA, Steven Meyer of Rutland, VT and Tracy Augsburger of Orange City, FL; her daughter-in-law Karen; and her brother-in-law Geoffrey Meyer of Amelia Island, FL. She is also survived by four nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Currie Funeral Home (116 E Church St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482). A Mass was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Frances de Sales Catholic Church (153 E Church St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482).
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
