He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Burke and Bertha Adele Burke; and his brothers, John Joseph Burke, Jr. and Martin Thomas Burke. He is survived by: his friend Bill; his significant other Kim Lux; his children, Sarah Burke Smith (Bart), Erin Burke Amerson (Billy), Jeremy Lux (Reagan) and Emily Lux; his grandchildren, Coleman, Ryan Grace, Burke Smith, Blake Amerson, Sutton and Kai; and his siblings, Peter Burke (Nancy), Francis "Frank" Burke (Carol), Catherine Withers and Dorothy "Dottie" Clark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
