He was predeceased by: his wife Jillian Mae Reed Horn; and his father Jennings (Mildred Patrick). He is survived by: his mother Joyce "Sue" Horn of Whitewood; his daughter Cassie Compton (Shane) of Bristol, VA.; his niece Carry Gilbert (Jason) of Whitewood, VA; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Compton, Aspen Compton and Roan Compton; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by Several great-nieces, great-nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
