She was predeceased by: her parents, Gallie Keen and Ruthie Boyd Keen; her husband James Wallace Boyd; and her siblings, Sylvia Keen, Mary Ethel Shook, Charlie Lee Keen (Shirley Keen) and Dewey Ralph Keen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Lynn Boyd Thomas (Keith) of Magnolia and Rita Sue Boyd Sullivan (John) of Pounding Mill, Virginia; her siblings, Carmie Hobbs of Whitewood, Mavis Gaynelle Horn of Newland, NC and Walter Roger Keen (Janet) of Hacienda Heights, California; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan Thomas, Michael Christopher Thomas and Kaitlyn Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
