It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilliam Franklin Hall Sr. of Wicomico, Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Filmore H. Hall and Sarah Dodson Hall; his wife Shirley Mae; his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Don Howard; his son Frank Hall; and his grandson Billy Hall.
He is survived by: his grandson Chris Hall; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Hall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Currie Funeral Home (116 E Church St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested for donations to be made to Wicomico Baptist Church, c/o Earl Hall, 2178 Remo Road.
