She is survived by: her husband Martel L. Duncan; her children, Donat Duncan, Courtney Duncan of Williamsburg, VA, Orpha Eccles of Newport News, VA and Martey Boothe (Darrell) of Surry, VA.; and her siblings, Gertrude Gobourne Brown, Valrey Gobourne Young, Pauline Fowles and Floyd Gobourne. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Adassa was a dedicated employee for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for over 30 years.
