We are sad to announce that, on December 30, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Allan Wright (Williamsburg, Virginia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, T. M. Wright and Moye S. Wright of Roanoke; and his sisters, Janet Atkinson and Dixie Saunders of Roanoke. He is survived by: his wife Pat Crymes Wright; his son Perry Wright (Anita Dunston Wright); and his stepdaughter Isabel Ferguson of Gloucester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I don't even know where to begin. Big Al gave so much of himself, his knowledge, his character, his good humor. So many of us owe so much of who and what we are to this great man. The gift of music that he left with us is beyond description. And that music was simply the vessel through which his heart and spirit shined and continue to shine now in the legacy he left behind.
