She was predeceased by: her son Stephen Lambert Grimes; and her former husband Michael Allen Grimes. She is survived by: her parents, Bonnie Lambert Cooper of Williamsburg, VA and John M. Cooper of Ocean City, MD; her close friend Mervin "Tony" Pleasant; her children, Thomas "Tom" Meade Grimes, Edward "Ted" Allen Grimes, Emma Catherine Grimes, Philip "Phil" John Grimes and Harrison "Harry" Michael Grimes (Christina Joy Knaus); her granddaughter Virginia Joy Knaus-Grimes; her sister Stephanie Gravel (Richard); and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by her family, especially her granddaughter and children.
