She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Pauline Smith; her grandparents, Charlie and Ruth Jones; and her aunts and uncles, Catherine Brown, Carrie Taylor, Bernice Cooke, Otelhia Travers, Eva Braxton, Virginia Haltiwanger, Rosa Jamerson, Viola Wise, Alverta Jones, Roberta Jones, Zeltha Smith, Rosa Smith, Charles Jones, Fred Jones, William Smith and Jessie Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Smith-McAdams (Antonio); her granddaughter Johnsalyn Smith; her great grandchild SeReya Smith; her uncle Horace Jones; and her close friend Alzeonia Morton. She is also survived by cousins, loving family, and friends.
She faithfully attended services until the COVID-19 pandemic closed the church doors.
