It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antoine Ashby Sr. (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Albert Ashby Jr. and Anthony Ashby. He is survived by: his children, Ace, Antoinette Ashby of Newport News, VA, Queen Ashby of Newport News, VA, Antonavi Ashby of Williamsburg and Antoine Ashby Jr. of Williamsburg, VA; his grandchildren, Knight, Christopher, Chyrie, Angel and Naiari; his siblings, Althea Duncan of Williamsburg, VA, Abby Brown of Williamsburg, VA, Ava Haizlip of Williamsburg, VA and Alex Ashby (Sharnett) of Williamsburg, VA; his uncle Carl Ashby Sr.; his aunt Phyllis Jones; and his close friends, Patty and Bernie Wright. He is also survived by grandsons, nephews, and special friends.
Having a love for golf, it was fate for him to start his career at The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation's Golden Horseshoe Golf Club.
