He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Dewey and Agnes Rule Liner; and his brother Floyd Dewey Liner. He is survived by: his sons, Doug (Renata Garcia-Menacho), Mark (Dana Paulson) and Don (Devon).
He also served on the executive committee of the Lincoln Institute and Foundation headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
