He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Lee Taylor and Carrie Marie Jones Taylor; and his brothers, Willis "Buck" Taylor and David Taylor. He is survived by: his friend Bruce Alonzo Taylor; his wife Barbara A. Taylor; his son Gary A. Taylor; his siblings, Carolyn Wynne, Charles "Chubb" Taylor (Yvette) and Milton "Wardell" Taylor (Sonia); his uncle Horace Jones; and his foster sister Myrtle Lee Melvin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
