Claude Duke Perkins Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claude Duke Perkins Jr. (Williamsburg, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Claude Duke may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Claude Duke touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Duke Perkins and Mary Ann Swift Perkins of Apple Grove. He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Perkins; his sons, Claude D. Perkins III (Mary Ellen), Howard S. Perkins (Valerie) and John S. Perkins (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Zachery, Melanie and Cora.
