He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Alden Rudd, Jr. (Tuck) of Durham; his parents, Elza Rudd and Grace Rudd (Johnson); and his siblings, Samuel Rudd, Ada Rose, Melissa Morgan (Tim), Lesa McCoy and Dennis Rudd (LeAnn).
He is survived by: his significant other Anne Steele McMennamy of Covington; his daughters, Dawn Hair-Rudd (Tiki), Terri Webb and Allison Lane (Doyle); his grandchildren, Jessica Rudd (Reb) of Dawson, WV, Shannon, Avery of Durham, NC, Kendra Webb of Ashland, KY, Kirstin Cole, Anna Cole and Michael Monte of Lewisburg, WV; his great grandchild Roman; and his pet Tooie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins.
The family wishes for donations to be made to Good Samaritan Hospice House, 4751 Cove Road NW, Roanoke, Va., where he was exceptionally cared for during his last days.
