She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Lee Lucas; her parents, Elsie Howell and Lanson Howell; and her grandson Tommy Lee Moody. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Lucas and Debbie Carter (Kevin Carter); and her granddaughter Brittany Carter. She is also survived by four sisters; one brother; two brothers-in-law; and many other beloved family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gospel Way Baptist Church (6515 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Williamsburg Memorial Park (130 King William Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23188).
