She was predeceased by: her parents, Broadus Cumbie and Annie Cox Cumbie; her daughter Carrol Kersh Bruce; her grandson Charles Patrick Kersh; and her sisters, Beryle, Tee, Crystal and Rachel.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Lenfred Kersh; her granddaughter Anne Kersh Brooks (Chad) of Savannah, GA; her great grandchildren, Carrol Scott, Emma and Alexander; her granddaughter Allison Bruce; her son Ron; her granddaughter Lindsay Kersh Willey (Robert Willey); her great grandchild Dean; her granddaughter Blair Kersh Jackson (Andrew); her great grandchild Naomi; her grandchild Cameron Kersh; and also Bailey Kersh. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren, and their children, and two loving nieces.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to The Autism Society of Tidewater Virginia at 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
