He was predeceased by: his daughter Devin Francis; his sister Joann Altizer; his grandparents, Frank, Hazel Boyd, Joseph and Catherine Altizer; and his godparents, Bob and Geneva Sanders.
He is survived by: his parents, Fred Alvan Altizer and Betty Josephine Boyd Altizer; his sister Laura Burcham (Kirk); his wife Tonya Altizer; his son Michael Derry (Keisha); and his grandchildren, Alyssa and Grayson. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Frankie has requested donations to be made in his memory to: Surry County Animal Shelter, 265 Old Burrough Road Elberon, VA 23846, R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory North Suffolk Chapel is assisting the family.
