She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Russell and Melvinia Scott Russell of Brickbat Road; her children, Twin and Hazel; her husband Charles Henry Jones of Williamsburg, VA; her grandson Brian Canady; her siblings, Lavinia Saunders, Estelle Christian, Annie Mae Banks, Archie, Linwood, William and Robert Russell; and her children, Melvin "Hank" Jones (Myra) of Baltimore, Rosalind "Trenny" Canady of Williamsburg, VA and Linda "Cookie" Thornton of Newport News, VA.
She is survived by: her siblings, Margie, Edith, Ruth, Ethel, Doris, Clyde, Nathan, McKinley Armistead and Heroline Saunders; and her grandchildren, Stacey Gray, Tiffany Jones-Johnson, Myra Coleman, Philip Canady, Tondaleyha Wright, Dionne Canady, Dana King and Glenmar Thornton.
