She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tyler and Virginia Tyler; the father of her children Al Joseph Morgan; her husband George O. Johnson; her son James "Pluck" Johnson; her great grandchild Amiah Cooper; and her siblings, Gerald Tyler, James Tyler, Donald Tyler, Christine Elliott, Regina James and Evelyn Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Tyler (Patrice), Alzinia Hardin (Christopher), George Johnson (Terry), Christine Lipscomb (Reginald) and Maria Cooper (Alvin); her sister Jacqueline Wynne (Quentin); her grandchildren, Stephanie Harding (Terrance), Randy Tyler Jr., Teneasa Brehmeyer (Jesse), Donte Lewis, Tashea Clark (Andre), Reginald Lipscomb II, Sonoma Boykins and Alvin Cooper Jr. (April); and her extended family, Wyoma Carter, Gloria Tyler and Vivian Morgan. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
