He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Daughtry and Rosie Daughtry; his wife Josephine S. Daughtry of Suffolk; and his brothers, Ernest Daughtry and Shervett Daughtry.
He is survived by: his daughter Marjie Greehow; his stepchildren, Tonya Tyler (Lester), Pittman of Maryland, Paula Collins, Yvonne Goodman, Tony Wheeler and Shantina Maldives (Charles); and his siblings, Rev. Linwood Daughtry, John Daughtry (Rhonda), Charles Daughtry (Karola), Clifton Daughtry, Ann Franklin, Carole Magwood and Louise Fuller (Edward). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He later moved to Williamsburg and worked for the Shoe Repair Store, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and retired from Anheuser-Busch Inc. after twenty years of service.
