It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iwa Womack (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Iwa Womack to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Turu Soejima and Sigenobu Soejima; her significant other Robert "Bobby" Womack; and her great great grandchildren, Jalayah and Jaydon.

She is survived by : her children, Carolyn and Alfred Daye; her grandchildren, Nyla Daye, Ailsa Hobson, Keeley Daye and Erick Hobson; her nieces, Trawick and Sheile Easley; and her nephew Curtis Easley. She is also survived by family which consists of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Whiting's Funeral Home (7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185).
