He was predeceased by: his father James R. "Jim" Durrette Sr.; his sister Debbie Green Potter; and his brother-in-law Elton Green. He is survived by: his wife Lori Durrette; his mother Betty Durrette; his children, Greg Eskridge (Aileen) and Meredith Lay (Clark); and his grandsons, Wyatt, Hollis and Fynn. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nelsen Williamsburg Funeral Home (3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
