He was predeceased by: his father James Melvin Wallace; and his daughter Brittany A. Anderson. He is survived by: his mother Betty Sue Wallace; his brother Steve Melvin Wallace (Yvette); his children, Mahogani Rae Wallace, Sedaya Monét Andrews (Ashton), Jeffrie Derecarda Wallace Jr. and Starr Chardonnay Wallace; his grandson Amir James Andrews; and his aunt Mary Colbert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
