John Holmes Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Holmes Sr. (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Holmes and Will Holmes; his sister Esther Mills; and his son Timothy "Timmy" White. He is survived by: his spouse Alzinia; his children, Bruce Holmes of Bronx, NY, Andra Holmes Brown (Dale) of Jacksonville, FL, Irvin "Rick" Holmes of Norfolk, VA, Thomasine White Hart (Lawnell) of Charlotte, NC, Thomas White, Jr. (Ann) of Toms River, NJ, Alzin Johnette Holmes and John Holmes, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA; his brothers, Edward Holmes and William Holmes (Jerline); his sisters-in-law, Lucille Minkins and Julia Wallace; Mervin Piggott. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Due to the current health pandemic and its restrictions, attendees will be limited to 50, with facial coverings and social distancing being required.
