John C. Trebellas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John C. Trebellas of Williamsburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust J. Trebellas and Bessie Koutroubes Trebellas. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Bergeret Trebellas; his daughters, Katherine Trebellas Restina (Paul) of Glen Allen, VA and Christine Trebellas (John Brian Keane) of Lewis Center, OH; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Restina, Katherine Keane and Elizabeth Keane.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (8510 Staples Mill Rd., Henrico, VA 23228).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Tulane University and directed to the John C. and Katherine B. Trebellas Chemistry Fellowship Fund.
