He was predeceased by: his brother Patrick Hurd. He is survived by: his wife Patricia La'vonne Hurd; and his children, Calvin Hurd, Lovonne Hurd, Remone Scales, Lateef Scales, Cheron Scales-Johnson, Tai Ford and Tiffany Lee. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members, and friends.
