Godsey (Williamsburg, Virginia), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Godsey and Pauline Godsey; and his brother D. B. Godsey. He is survived by: his wife Dreama Lou Godsey; his sister Linda Trimble; his daughter Kimberly Dawn Grimes; his son-in-law Jonathan Scott Grimes; and his grandchildren, Taylor Grimes and Nathan Grimes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
