He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Whitehurst and Anna Whitehurst; and his sister Dorothy Horton. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Nathalyn Field (Bill) and Warren Whitehurst; his brother Howard Whitehurst (Madeline); his grandsons, Braden Field (Sarah), Parker Field (Meagan) and Matthew Whitehurst; and his great grandchildren, Cohen, Cooper, Ryan and Landon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
