He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Leo Joseph Wachter, Sr. and Verneda A. (Sponseller) Wachter; wife: Barbara Jean Fischer; children: Krista Rahm (Rob), Brian Wachter (Rani), and Karen Hazlett; siblings: Therese Ream (David) and Michael; sister-in-law: Kathy Wachter; grandchildren: Ryan Hazlett, Laura Hazlett, Caroline Hazlett, Dylan Rahm (Skyler), Meadow, Shanah Morris (Adam), Daniel Wachter, and Julia Wachter; niece: Erin and family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602).
