She was predeceased by : her father George Andrew Whiting Sr.; her husband Douglas M. Lee, Sr.; her son Douglas M. Lee, Jr.; and her siblings, Norma Fields, George A. Whiting Jr. and James B. Whiting.

She is survived by : her children, Gloria Lee (Lynwood) of Washington and Darnell Benjamin Lee (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Dr. Nicole Ra'chele (Oldest) of Washington, Lynwood York, Jr. (Darsey) of Washington, Mario Devon Dillard (Bridgette), Jasmine Imani Lee, Omari De'Angelo Monroe Lee (Youngest) and Jordan Isaiah Lee; her great grandchildren, Paris Jade Dillard, Jasiri Phillip, Youngest and Lynwood Kai of Washington; her daughter-in-law Synthia Lee; her siblings-in-law, Redell King, Betty Martin, Linda Badger, Rebecca Crumbley, Deloris Barker, Theresa Lee, Carolyn Lee, Clyde King, Orlando Badger, Elvis Crumbley, Thomas Barker and Matthew Lee; her friends, Doris C, Corrine Whiting and Ercurte Travers; and also Lillian Whiting Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends.
