He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Mary Louise Beverly Hutcheson Hundley; mother: Shirley Anne Hundley; father: James Carlton Hundley Sr.; children: Stacey Reyes-Mejia and Jared K. Hundley; grandchildren: Kevin B. Carpenter II, Gretchen M. Carpenter, Angelo D. Reyes-Mejia and Soleil R. Reyes-Mejia; and siblings, extended family and a host of dear friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM at the Whiting's Funeral Home (7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery.
His dedication to service, both military and civilian, reflected his commitment to making a meaningful contribution to the lives of others.
