She was predeceased by: her husband Hendrik "Hank"; her grandson Kees; and her parents, Cornelis and Wilhelmina. She is survived by: her sons, Jack (Stacy), Corey (Harriette), Teddy (Sandy), Rene and Jeffery (Laura); her grandchildren, Lindsey (Burt), Kassie, Cody (Melinda), Carrie, Cole and Brayden; her sister Helmi (Hans) of Dordrecht; her niece Natasja (Henk); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ziva and Rhett of Muiden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Respite Care Program at Williamsburg United Methodist Church or At Home Care & Hospice, 287 McLaws Circle, Suite 1, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
