She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Walker and Daniel Walker; her siblings, Rudell Walker, Mary Walker, Daniel Walker Jr., Wesley Walker and Robert "Popcorn" Walker; her son-in-law Webster "Mark" Lightfoot; and her brother-in-law William Hawkins Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Hampton Meekins Sr.; her children, Theresa Lightfoot, Shirley Meekins, Joanne Christian (Christopher), Elaine Christian (Michael), Hampton Meekins (Wanda) and Donald Meekins; and her sister Elizabeth "Sue" Hawkins.
