She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Scott Sr.; her grandchildren, Bruce Scott, Tierra Brown and Brian Scott Sr.; and her great grandchild Jakeem "King" Brown.
She is survived by: her children, John Scott (Alveta), Patricia Vaught (Albert), Sarah Scott, Charles Scott, Freaderick Scott Jr. (Gail) and Senora Opie (Victor). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and devoted friends.
