She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cooney and Kathleen Cooney; and her brother Eugene Cooney. She is survived by: her husband David Symanski; her children, Katharine McHugh (David Tascione), Jeffrey Symanski (Jennifer Fluri) and LeeAnn Moore (Matthew Moore); and her grandsons, Luke Bannister, Nathaniel and Dominic Tascione.
