It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Leigh Borders (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Borders and Lola "Patty" Borders; and her brother-in-law Larry Kestner. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Valerie Bassett (Sherry) of Juliette, GA, Laura Bassett of Juliette, GA, Kirsten Hopkins (Jourdan) of Phoenix, AZ, Matthew Kestner (Deborah) of High Point, NC and Dillon Kestner of Durham, NC; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia, Charlotte Kestner, Landen Kestner and Roman Kestner; Patty. She is also survived by five aunts, an uncle, 20 cousins, friends.
