She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Mareydt and Madeline Mareydt (Piceu). She is survived by: her husband John Clark Vaughan III; her children, Julie (Phil), John IV (Tanya), Michael (Trisha) and Richard (Maria); her grandchildren, Emily (Miric), Graham, Ian, Sophia, Charlie, John V and Morgan; her sister Carol Bruno; and her children, Jay, Jennifer, Joann, Charles, Joyce and Judy.

Gifts in lieu of flowers may be given in loving memory of Patricia Vaughan to the Van Andel Institute in support of cancer research.
