With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Garrett Taylor of Williamsburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Henley and Bettie Mae Garrett (Waltrip); and her brother Robert H. Garrett, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Timothy S. (Julie J. Taylor) of Gloucester, VA, Tina T. (Andrew W. McAlpin) of Cumming, GA and Lisa T. (W. Scott Saul) of Titusville, NJ.; her grandchildren, Clay, Jackson, Henry, John, Annie and Andrew; and her siblings, Bettie Mae Nixon of Lightfoot, VA, Sharon G. Moss of Williamsburg, VA, Deborah G. Alsip (Gil) of Orange City, FL and Mark Garrett of Croaker, VA. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving family members.
