It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Purcell Dobson (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth and Samuel Dobson, Sr.; and her siblings, Lucy Dobson Byrd, Evelena Dobson, Ernest, Ben and Johnny Dobson.

She is survived by: her brother Samuel "Bubba" Dobson of Williamsburg; her nieces, Frances Dobson-Wrezinski and Faye Dobson; and her great-niece Ja'Nai "Jenny" Dobson. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
