He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fischer and Margaret Fischer (Hennen); his son Thomas Fischer; and his brothers, Walter and Fred Fischer.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Lopez-Fischer of Williamsburg, VA; his children, Christopher Fischer (Sandra), Aleta Fischer and Stacy Vallario; his adoptive daughter Celeste Wine; his grandson Brandon Vallario; his siblings, Robert Fischer and Barbara Twill; his caregiver Wendy Sellars; and his friend Jason Plocharczyk.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Olaf Catholic Church (104 Norge Ln, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A Mass was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
