He is survived by: his wife Rutha Holmes; his daughter Pamela Thompon of Providence Forge, VA; his grandchildren, Julius Holmes (Cheretta) of Tucson, AZ and TJ Thompson of Annandale, VA; and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Avery and Bryson.
