He is survived by: his wife Tijen; his children, Neslihan, Melissa, Selin, Pelin, Remona, Robert Jr. and Cleveland; his son-in-law Zachary; his granddaughters, Ayla and Meryem; and his siblings, John, Pat, Liz, Charlene, Curtis, Ron and Mikell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jamestown Presbyterian Church (3287 Ironbound Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). The military honors will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Williamsburg Memorial Park (130 King William Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23188).
