He was predeceased by: his father Thomas "Frank" Shirley; and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his mother Jane Shirley (Ledbetter); and his siblings, Tom (Nancy), Beverly (Steve) and Susan (Joe). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews; and his great-nieces and great-nephews.
