With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Cook Rumsey (Williamsburg, Virginia), born in Bogart, Georgia, who passed away on April 30, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Tamara Wittel. She is survived by: her husband Ted of Rochester, NY.; her children, Tedra Skaar (Don) of Helena, Montana and Chip Rumsey (Karissa) of Fishers, Indiana; her grandchildren, Rachel Skaar, Taylor, Roland Wittel, Alissa and Robin Rumsey; her sibling's children, Gerald Sheive (Judy Williams), David Sheive (Ellen), Joyce Sisson (Randy) and Jean Cochrane (Walt); and her friend Jean Stewart. She is also survived by her family, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that expression of sympathy take the form of contribution to Williamsburg Community Chapel.
