He is survived by: his son Stacey Norris; his mother Edna "Morristeen" McGilvary; his siblings, Sheila Akrie (Jeff) and Hugh "Bubba" McGilvary, Jr.; his grandson Kahlil Norris; his nieces, Shelitha Akrie, Latisha Watson, Angel Washington (Perry), Lacey McGilvary and Shatrice Akrie; his nephew Hugh McGilvary, III; his great-nieces, Mikaela Jefferson, Leah Neale, Saraya Akrie, Ariana Holloway, Gabrielle Washington, Nyla Washington and Camiyah Martin; his aunts, Martha Johnson, Iris McGilvary, Agnes McGilvary, Alta McGilvary and Doris McGilvary; and his close friend Stafford Lewis. He is also survived by cousins, friends.
