It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Wayne Carawan of Williamsburg, Virginia, born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Thomas leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He is survived by: his wife June Carawan; his children, Tommy Carawan (Melissa) and Mandy Gregory (Justin); his grandchildren, Brock, Sophie, Blake and Kyra; his sibling Pat; and his pet Sunny. He is also survived by six cats and dogs.
