She was predeceased by: her father Chester James Brooks; and her stepmother Stephanie Brooks. She is survived by: her mother Mary D. Whitaker Brooks; her husband James Vincent III; her stepfather Garry Whitaker; her sisters, Maxine Suarez (Jhonny), Jennifer Kopcik (Kevin) and Sara LaBarge (Cody); and her siblings-in-law, Beatrice Walker, Rita McIntyre (George), Lewis Vincent (Linda) and Eddie Vincent. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving friends.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the James City County Fire and Rescue, 5077 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185.
