He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard A. Ross, Sr. and Sarah J. Tucker Ross; his brothers, Willard Ross, Jr. (Ida Ross), Dr. Carl S. Ross (Marion M. Ross) and Hollis Ross; and his brothers-in-law, Aaron Garrett, Sr., Willie D. Manley, Jr. and Fielding Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife June M. Ross; his children, Scott A. Ross and Toni T. Brown; his son-in-law Anthony J. Brown; his granddaughters, Amara D. Ross, Elyse T. Brown and Margaux S. Brown; and his sisters-in-law, Josephine Ross of Pennsylvania, Helen Lorraine Wheeler of Fayetteville, NC, Thomasine Garrett-Ritchie (Cornelious) of Hampton, VA and Ana Manley of Toms River, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, Goddaughter, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Whiting's Funeral Home (7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185).
