Viola Jarvis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Jarvis (Williamsburg, Virginia), who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harris and Willie Marie Harris; her husband Edwood M. Jarvis; her children, Princess Jarvis Myers, Lloyd E. Jarvis and Ray Anthony Jarvis; and her siblings, Emma Tann, William Harris and Victor Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Jarvis (Larry), Jerry Jarvis (Debra), Foster Jarvis and Dametria Gyant (Arnold); her grandchildren, Nikole Jarvis-Potter, Deborah Gatling, Darryl Jarvis and Lynnette Fogg (Eric); her sisters, Gladys Evans (Reginald), Jennie Campbell and Marion Green; her sisters-in-law, Irene Harris and Javon Harris; and her friend Jacqueline McDonald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
